Floating Masjid of Kuala Terengganu

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

One of the beautiful sites in the city of Kuala Terengganu, the hometown of my wife, is the Floating Masjid, pictured below:

We prayed `asr here a few days back, and naturally, having my camera with me, I snapped a few pictures. Click on the image above to go to the gallery and see more pictures of the masjid.

Mashaa Allah! I am at a loss for words after viewing these pictures. Malaysia is even more beautiful than I had ever imagined! Some of these pictures would make nice postcards. JazakhAllahu khayr for posting.

Alhamdulillaah, I’m glad that you enjoyed the pictures. I truly recommend for Muslims to visit Malaysia as it has a unique blend of modernity along with the traditional practices of Islam. While it’s not perfect, it’s amazingly refreshing and a place I think that will suit a wide variety of tastes & personalities, wallaahu a`lam.

Make sure to visit all the galleries for my pictures from Malaysia if you haven’t already:

You want me to bring some back with me? The seafood is what really shines in KT.
