Alhamdulillah, he’s 7 months

Alhamdulillah, ‘Abdurrahman is already 7 months according to lunar calendar :). Yet to be 7 according to Gregorian calendar. I prefer to use lunar calendar to keep track his progress though because I learned from TQ class, whenever in the the Qur’an Allaah mentions time, it refers to time in lunar calendar. For example, we should start teaching our children about salah when they are 7 years, which is 7 years according to lunar calendar.

Okay, going back to ‘Abdurrahman, maashaaAllaah he already started to crawl walhamdulillaah. He would crawl for few steps, then stop and then resume again, maashaAllaah.

Another major achievement is he could talk now, alhamdulillaah! “Mammammaa,,, mamaa… babbabaaa, babaaa…..”He loves to tell us stories now, maashaaAllaah. He narrates the story with full expression. I was telling hubby this  morning, hopefully when he grows up he would deliver khutbah, inshaaAllaah.

We haven’t gave him solid food yet. Alhamdulillaah he’s still exclusively breastfed. And alhamdulillaah he’s very healthy and active, maashaaAllaah walhamdulillaah.

Ya Allaah,  alhamdulillaah for blessing us with a good health, being able to see ‘Abdurrahman’s smiling, growing up before our eyes, alhamdulillaah for giving us the ni’mah of being parents, Alhamdulillaah for giving us the ni’mah of emaan! Ya Allaah increase our emaan, aameen!
